Hello August! In a few days, September will be over. My apologies for the late newsletter, as I've been incredibly busy with work and I was on vacation for a week. Speaking of which, I just returned from Orlando and had the best time! I'll touch on it in a bit. I wanted to have a blog post up on the blog but that didn't happen. I managed to type it out but haven't edited it, added photos, etc. But now that I'm back from my vacation, I'm going to work on that. But if you haven't checked out the post that's already up, check it out here! Trip to Orlando: Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Epic Universe!I recently took a 5 day trip with my boyfriend to Orlando! We went to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, and Epic Universe. We've both been to Universal and Island of Adventure in the past; they're classics and I love going to these two parks in particular. I always want to return and go on the rides, no matter how many times I've been on them. Epic Universe was new for the both of us. What we didn't do for this park, but we did for Universal and IOA, is get the express lane pass. Essentially, the express lanes allow you to go into designated lines (they say express lane) on rides without the long waits. There is a wait sometimes but compared to general admission, it cuts down the time SIGNIFICANTLY. I didn't know how many rides my boyfriend or I would've wanted to go on. I didn't want to pay an extra $160 per person for a pass I wasn't sure how often we'd use. I know for Universal and IOA, it was going to be used for sure! So to save extra money, we just went with general admission. Though the wait times were crazy, even with single rider options (when they weren't closed). We managed to go on a few rides at Epic Universe and realized that it's a park we'd like to return to with express lane passes to go on even more ride! So, we will return at some point. We even went to a ghost tour in the Downtown Orlando area. This tour was kindly sponsored by US Ghost Adventures and I highly recommend this tour company as we enter spooky season! They have a variety of ghost tours, overnight stays, and paranormal investigations all over the country. Laura was an incredible and knowledgeable guide, loved her tour and I highly recommend it. Loved spending time with my boyfriend and going to the parks, and a ghost tour as well. I cannot wait until our next trip! 🍁 New England Fall Travel 🍁This isn't the first time I've traveled to New England during the fall. The last time I visited this area during the fall, it was back in 2021 when I took my Solo Fall New England Road Trip. It was such a fun experience! However, I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency. So, I never finished exploring Vermont, which was the last state I drove to. Now, almost 4 years later, I'm going back to finish what I started! I'm planning to do lots of hiking, small town exploring, and drives through this beautiful state for the fall 🍁. Plus, I'm planning to return to Salem with my coworker this fall too! 👻 We've both been to Salem, MA before and want to visit again during the fall. It's such a vibe, especially as you get closet to October and you see all the witchy stuff out and on display. If you're looking for some location inspiration for your fall trip to New England, check out my blog for posts and my New England Road Trip Digital Map! It has all the locations I visited with tips and information. Download the map so you can have this resource on hand on your phone during your road trip! Blog UPDATE!If you didn't know, my blog is LIVE! Check out the new look and design of the blog, and save it for tips, shared experience, and resources for your travels! You can check out my blog posts, digital store to help with your packing needs, and all the travel information and tips from my travels! I started a new role at my job earlier this month. Hence why this newsletter is being sent out late and why I haven't finished and scheduled my blog post. I've been trying to adjust to my new role. Nonetheless, I managed to post a new blog post! I want to finish what I started 4 years ago: road trip throughout the state of Vermont. This time around, I did invite my friend to go with me. So hopefully, as long as nothing changes, we should be road tripping together! It'll be fun and I cannot wait to be in New England again during the fall. By the time I get there in November, I'm not sure if there will be any fall foliage left. But if there is, I'll take it! Unlike my Orlando trip, this trip I will be vlogging it so you'll see the adventure we take! October Freebie! As always, here is your October freebie! Here’s the freebie! Hello! I hope you’ve been doing well and taking advantage of the summer! We had a bit of a heatwave where I live but this week the temperature has returned to normal. I haven’t been doing much other than working, getting things together for Kilimanjaro and Nigeria, and trying my best to look into freelancing, remote jobs, and travel UGC. This is going to be my last year at the organization I work for. Which means, I’m looking to transition into something new (after I’m back from Nigeria)....
Hello! It’s June my lovely friends! We are officially half way through the year now. It feels like time is truly flying 😭 I have something to tell you…I’m taking a break from travel for a bit. As a traveler, this is so sad but there’s a reason behind it. So let’s get into that. I’m taking a break… I had the opportunity to visit Puerto Rico in the beginning of April and I'm so happy I was able to do so! Then in May, I visited Las Vegas once again, only this time with my best friend. Lots of...
Hello! Sorry I missed you in April! I had traveled to Puerto Rico (we’ll talk about that in a minute) in the beginning of the month. After that, I returned home and hit the ground running by working over 12 days straight 😩. Needless to say, the first few weeks of April were very busy and I didn’t have the time, space, or energy to create a newsletter. So, I’m getting back into the swing of it before my next trip in May and setting up May’s newsletter. Now, let’s get into some travel updates,...
