Hello August! We’re in that transitional month where the summer is coming to an end and the fall will soon begin. Fall, aesthetically and travel wise, is my favorite time of year! The fall foliage and activities are here and if you’re looking to travel, this is one of the best times to travel because of reduced prices (depending on where you travel to). Although I didn’t do much travel this month, I did attend a festival in Brooklyn! My travels will pick up when I travel to Orlando in September, then to Vermont in November for my birthday. So, this was a break from traveling. But don’t worry, we’ll talk about future travel plans, travel news, and some blog updates with a freebie to finish it off! Fall Travel PlansLike I mentioned earlier, I have two more trips planned for the fall. I'm also in the process of planning a fall weekend trip with a coworker! When I say fall is one of the best times of year to travel, I truly mean it! Between the beautiful change in foliage and landscapes to the cheap prices for things, it's just all around a good time to travel. That's one of the many reasons why I chose to travel during this time of year! But as you can see, most of my travels will be to New England, with the exception of Orlando which is in Florida. 🍁 New England Fall Travel 🍁This isn't the first time I've traveled to New England during the fall. The last time I visited this area during the fall, it was back in 2021 when I took my Solo Fall New England Road Trip. It was such a fun experience! However, I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency. So, I never finished exploring Vermont, which was the last state I drove to. Now, almost 4 years later, I'm going back to finish what I started! I'm planning to do lots of hiking, small town exploring, and drives through this beautiful state for the fall 🍁. Plus, I'm planning to return to Salem with my coworker this fall too! 👻 We've both been to Salem, MA before and want to visit again during the fall. It's such a vibe, especially as you get closet to October and you see all the witchy stuff out and on display. If you're looking for some location inspiration for your fall trip to New England, check out my blog for posts and my New England Road Trip Digital Map! It has all the locations I visited with tips and information. Download the map so you can have this resource on hand on your phone during your road trip! Blog UPDATE!If you didn't know, my blog is LIVE! Check out the new look and design of the blog, and save it for tips, shared experience, and resources for your travels! You can check out my blog posts, digital store to help with your packing needs, and all the travel information and tips from my travels! I started a new role at my job earlier this month. Hence why this newsletter is being sent out late and why I haven't finished and scheduled my blog post. I've been trying to adjust to my new role. I'm slowly but surely trying to get back into consistent content creation for the blog. By the end of the month, I do plan on publishing a new blog post! We've both been to Orlando before but I wanted to go during the fall, as I've never been to Orlando at that time of year. The plan is to visit Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. That's my favorite park, because my boyfriend and I have a lot more adult friendly options for food and rides. However, we'd like to try and do other things, like kayaking or trying new restaurants in the Orlando area. There's more to Orlando besides the theme parks, so we're going to try and see what we can find and do! Plus, I'm also going to be doing a ghost tour, which is in collaboration with US Ghost Adventures. I've done other tours with them in the past, both on my own and in collaboration with them. I LOVE doing ghost tours so a ghost tour in Orlando is a great way to kick off the fall/almost spooky season! August Freebie! As always, here is your August freebie! Here’s the freebie! Hello! I hope you’ve been doing well and taking advantage of the summer! We had a bit of a heatwave where I live but this week the temperature has returned to normal. I haven’t been doing much other than working, getting things together for Kilimanjaro and Nigeria, and trying my best to look into freelancing, remote jobs, and travel UGC. This is going to be my last year at the organization I work for. Which means, I’m looking to transition into something new (after I’m back from Nigeria)....
Hello! It’s June my lovely friends! We are officially half way through the year now. It feels like time is truly flying 😭 I have something to tell you…I’m taking a break from travel for a bit. As a traveler, this is so sad but there’s a reason behind it. So let’s get into that. I’m taking a break… I had the opportunity to visit Puerto Rico in the beginning of April and I'm so happy I was able to do so! Then in May, I visited Las Vegas once again, only this time with my best friend. Lots of...
Hello! Sorry I missed you in April! I had traveled to Puerto Rico (we’ll talk about that in a minute) in the beginning of the month. After that, I returned home and hit the ground running by working over 12 days straight 😩. Needless to say, the first few weeks of April were very busy and I didn’t have the time, space, or energy to create a newsletter. So, I’m getting back into the swing of it before my next trip in May and setting up May’s newsletter. Now, let’s get into some travel updates,...
